There was a little boy at some point early in our time there. The party found him and then, collectively, forgot about him. I have no further information. Moving on.

Firebell is a city with a tavern for every occasion, and the Dungeoneers are a group that treats tavern research as due diligence. We conducted a thorough crawl. During it, we met a gnome named Stormvixen Baggyplume and her associate Frostbunny Scaredpaws, who was being arrested, incorrectly it emerged, for a tax collector infraction she had not committed. The party assessed this situation, concluded that injustice was occurring, and immediately claimed to be lawyers.

This worked. I remain impressed.

The trail led eventually to a place called the Screaming Rooster, and from there to a Hightower family party that the group was not invited to. They got in anyway. Devon convinced the son. They spent the evening gathering intelligence on the disappearances the party had been hearing rumors about. The burglarizing-the-estate portion of the evening did not go as planned. The pickpocket attempt on a Hightower did not go as planned either; the party was removed.

The evening ended on a more successful note: Azazle and Grizzle fought in a ring. Grizzle won. The crowd was pleased.
