Captain Tom Tomsley arrived in session 22 to transport the party from Caviana to Firebell aboard the Turquoise Halfling, an airship-for-hire operating out of Firebell.
Background
Tomsley was a professional. He took the job, he flew the party, and he kept his ship in the air. He was not warm about any of this.
During the crossing, the Turquoise Halfling was intercepted by a Caviana military airship carrying a lieutenant, two squads of boarders, and a squad of magical cannoneers. The party helped fight them off. Everyone survived. Tomsley was aware that without the party aboard, the airship would not have been a target in the first place. He held onto that fact. He did not hold it against them exactly, surviving things together was a kind of credential, but he had not forgotten it either.
His relationship with the party was transactional, with a thin layer of grudging respect on top.
What Happened
Tomsley flew the party to the Ethereal Contrivance in Session 31. He was killed when the Contrivance detonated. The airship did not survive either.
