A self-styled operator the party met in session 10. His nickname comes from running rigged card games at The Crying Vampire in Zamoria. He is affable, small-time, and somehow keeps ending up at the center of larger problems.

Background
Ben was known for operating rigged card games at The Crying Vampire before departing Zamoria under difficult circumstances. He had a falling out with Seraphine Voss that she has not forgotten.
He has since established himself in Caviana, where he is working against Ivasaar Ulawenys’s conquest. He runs supplies, moves people, and directs capable parties toward targets connected to the occupation. He gave the Dungeoneers several missions during their time in Caviana.
According to Seraphine’s intelligence (delivered to Klause in session 29), Ben has no ties to the Order of the Pale Flame and is actively working against them. Something is guiding his operation. She is uncertain what, but she is confident he is on the opposite side of the conflict from Chiezzem.
