Grizzle is a kobold with pale white scales and a psychic’s ability to do things with his mind that other people find alarming. He was exiled from his warren and has lost things since. He intends to get them back. He is calculating in the way that people become when they have learned that institutions will not protect them.
The party recovered the Horn of Rust with him early in the campaign. A Vrock stole it from him. His scales have been pale white since.
He regards Firebell with the particular attention of someone who has already decided it belongs to him. He told Kaemol Dol’s receptionist as much, to her evident displeasure, during the party’s first week in the city.
Appearance
Kobold build, small. His scales are pale white now, they were grey and rust-colored while he had the Horn of Rust. He carries himself with more confidence than his size typically invites.
Role
Grizzle is a damage dealer and social wildcard. He also has a working knowledge of Firebell’s underground geography that proved useful when the party needed to navigate the cave system beneath the city.
He has history with Kaemol Dol and her guild, which has made Vivi Square awkward.
His long-term objective, as far as the party knows, involves retribution against Chiezzem, the Bringer of Death, an ancient dragon who exiled him from his warren. The party learned in session 29 that Chiezzem is also their primary antagonist, news Grizzle received with the resigned energy of someone who was already expecting it.
