The party encountered Zelyza the Grand Visage in session 22, shortly after arriving in Firebell. She stopped Azazle in Ironmane’s Square, told him she could see the curse on his soul, and invited him to come to The Point to address it. The encounter was brief and she did not explain herself further before continuing on her way.
In session 29 she was at Ironmane’s Forge, working alongside Ironmane and Pauline Tumblefoot on the revival of three Silver Sisters members currently in stasis there.
Appearance
Tall and lithe, with the ophidian features of her vishkanya ancestry visible up close: small scales in earthy tones, golden eyes with vertical pupils, a forked tongue she rarely draws attention to. In public she keeps herself covered: gloves, high collars, wraps suited to the occasion. She presents as ostentatious: striking clothes, deliberate bearing, the kind of presence that fills a room. She is, underneath it, entirely practical.
Background
Zelyza represents The Point on the Firebell Council and is a prominent figure in The Point Cabal, which controls the city’s Archives, Academy, and institutional knowledge. “The Grand Visage” reads as a name she chose for herself. Vishkanyas commonly adopt new names at significant life events.
She is currently working with Ironmane and Pauline Tumblefoot to revive three Silver Sisters members being held in stasis at Ironmane’s Forge. In session 29 the party found her there alongside Ironmane when Order of the Pale Flame operatives arrived to take custody of those members.
Her invitation to Azazle was genuine; she perceived his curse on sight.
